Order Requiring Hancock Production of Documents by January 25, 2024: Endorsement on Motion to compel Defendant John Hancock Life Insurance Co. (U.S.A.) to Produce Documents (#63.0): ALLOWED

Upon review, the gravamen of this complaint is that Hancock's space that was used as a gym/locker room for Hancock employees was subject to videotaping without the knowledge of the participants, not their permission. Hancock denies all knowledge of the conduct that lead to the taping and further denies that if knows who was responsible for the actions. In light of these allegations and Hancock's professed ignorance the Court does not agree with Hancock' that releasing its investigation would compromise its security - Especially where Hancock claims its investigation was not successful. Hancock may redact any names and personal identifying data about people involved in its investigation, if Plaintiff moves, and makes an adequate showing of particular need the Court will entertain a motion to disclose redacted information, and further all photos or videos shall not be filed except under seal and subject to a motion.
